2010 Thunder Rides

All Adirondack Loops Described Assume Starting in Old Forge. Trip time increases with number of stretch stops. All times are round trip from Old Forge, NY.

For guided or unguided rides, don't forget:
Start with full tank of gas.
Go to restroom before leaving Old Forge.
Make sure your inspections are current.
Wear DOT-approved helmets
If traveling north Saturday, plan on a stop at Long Lake beach (Rt 30 in LL) where complimentary snacks & refreshments available for Thunder riders

Two guided rides scheduled.
Saturday, June 5 9AM North St. Pavilion in Old Forge.

Bill Lux will guide a ride to Boonville, Osceola, Taberg, Westernville, back to Boonville & to Old Forge. About a 3 hour ride & should be back around noon.  Ed Booton will guide a ride to Forestport, Piseco, Speculator, Indian Lake, & back to Old Forge. This too is about a 3 hour ride returning to OF noonish.
